Washington Comm Schools

Washington High School is an academic institution that has an enrollment of more than 400 students in grades 10 through 12. The school conducts social studies, language arts and science classes. It organizes a variety of sports activities that includes football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, soccer and softball. The school offers guidance and counseling services. Washington High School provides special, physical, and computers and career education classes. It organizes field trips and music, speech and drama competitions. Stewart Elementary School is located in Washington, Iowa. The school serves more than 450 students in grades kindergarten through three. The student-teacher ratio of the school is 11-to-1.
