Cancer Center of Kansas

Cancer Center of Kansas offers a range of treatments to meet the needs of oncology and hematology patients in Kansas. The center s physicians also travel to the institution s outreach offices on a weekly basis to provide care to patients throughout the state. The center, located in Wichita, Kan., is also involved in cancer research. Patients at the center can be eligible to participate in clinical research trials through one of its many research programs. The clinical trials, also called cancer treatment or research studies, test new treatments in people with cancer to find better ways to treat cancer and help patients. The clinical trials test many types of treatment, such as new drugs, new approaches to surgery, radiation therapy, new combinations of treatments and new methods, such as gene therapy.
