Dr. Charles Porter is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subcertification in cardiovascular disease. He completed a fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Porter specializes in cardiovascular disease with special expertise in heart failure and heart transplant cardiology. He is the medical director of the cardio-oncology program The University of Kansas Cancer Center.
