This museum is well worth a stop when you are in the Pittsburg, KS area. For those interested in American and/or Kansas history, I think it would be a nice stop on a longer trip when visiting...

Great musuem to learn about SE Kansas coal mining. But---it closed spring of 2015. So call before making a special trip. The county planed to reopen the museum at that time.
