History

Down to Earth Natural Cleaning was created in 2010 by Autumn Estrella Brighid, currently a student of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University. After her own reactions to conventional cleaning chemicals, she passionately researched cleaning chemistry, the history of industrialized cleaning products, and how to clean effectively without using toxic chemicals. Inspired by her care for the health of our planet, driven by her passion for holistic health, and informed by her undergraduate background in ecology and evolutionary biology, she became determined to offer an alternative, safe, and non-toxic cleaning service that was just as detailed and thorough as any elite cleaning service around.

We provide detailed home cleaning with a commitment to health for your children and pets, also keeping in mind the health and safety of us as service providers as well as the local ecosystem. Our custom-created cleaning solutions are non-toxic, biodegradable, and free of ammonia, alcohol, artificial fragrances or colors, butyl, chlorine, DEA, EDTA, glycol ether, petroleum solvents or surfactants, phosphates, and preservatives.
