DR Claudia Wendell MD

E. Lynn Flax, MD, is a board-certified family medicine specialist who joined Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in 2018. She chose a career in medicine because she felt a calling to help people and enjoys studying the science behind medicine. Her best piece of advice to her patients is to rethink going to the tanning beds. Dr. Flax is most proud of becoming a certified medical consultant for one of the Natural Family Planning methods. If she hadn't gone into medicine, Dr. Flax says she'd be working in church ministry. Dr. Flax is originally from Russellville, Arkansas but likes Wichita for its friendly, family-oriented people. Outside of work, Dr. Flax enjoys camping, exercising and attending daily mass.
