South Central Kansas Medical Center

South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center is located in Arkansas City, Kan. It has more than 20 private acute patient rooms. The radiology department offers tests, including computerized axial tomography, nuclear medicine, X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, bone density screening and mammogram screening. It provides home health services, including health assessments, dietary counseling, wound care and muscle strengthening. It offers respiratory and physical therapies, diagnostic cardiac care, surgery and emergency medicine. The laboratory provides analysis of specimens. Its five- bed intensive care unit includes a negative pressure isolation room. Its six-bed obstetrics wing features a private waiting area and four family birthing suites. South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center has four centralized operating rooms for conducting surgeries.
