Founded in 1934, Old Dominion Freight Line is one of the leading nonunion, less-than-truckload motor carriers providing multiregional services among six regions in the United States and next-day and second-day services within each of these regions. The company offers products and services through its branded product groups, including OD-Domestic, OD-Expedited, OD-Global and OD-Technology with direct services to more than 45 states within the Southeast, Gulf Coast, Northeast, Midwest, Central and West regions of the country. In addition to domestic LTL services, Old Dominion Freight Line provides container delivery services to and from North America, Central America, South America and the Far East. The company also offers a range of expedited, logistical and warehousing services for domestic and global markets. It owns over 5,000 tractors and operates a fleet of approximately 20,000 trailers. Old Dominion Freight Line has a staff of more than 12,000 employees.
