Located in Lebanon, Kansas, the Geographic Center of the United States is a must-visit for travelers passing through the area on US highways 36 or 281. While there isn't much to see or do at the actual center, visitors can sign the guest register and read notes from previous visitors, making it a unique and interesting stop.

The center, situated about two miles northwest of Lebanon, is marked by a plaque and is located in the center of a field that was once a hog farm. Visitors can also explore the new U.S. Center Chapel, which replaced the original chapel destroyed in 2008, and enjoy the scenic surroundings of this significant geographical landmark.

Must stop by if you haven't already. The chapel is open 24 hours. They have picnic tables. No bathrooms. Was a short stop. There's a market 10 miles out to buy souvenirs.
