Area Technical School is a technical school that provides a wide range of technical classes. The school offers classes in arts and crafts, personal development, computer technology, drafting, construction trades and facilities maintenance, graphic communications, heating and refrigeration, home decorating, machine technology and welding. It provides more than 20 technical skill training programs to students develop skills in the areas of service and health occupations, trade and industrial fields. The schools counseling and placement department assists students in their educational programs and personal concerns, as well as finding part-time employment.
