Ash Grove Cement Company, formerly known as the Ash Grove White Lime Association, is one of the largest producers of cement in the United States. Founded in 1882, the company operates more than five cement plants, over one deep water import terminals and a quarry in Canada. In addition, it operates various ready-mix, aggregate, packaged materials and paving companies. Ash Grove Cement Company offers a range of products, such as Type I, Type I-II, Type III and Type II-V Cement. Its product, Geocem AG is a soil stabilizer composed of a blend of Portland cement and high-lime kiln dust for decreasing the plasticity, swell properties, susceptibility to erosion and increase the load bearing capacity of a range of clay soils.
