Gregory Deam, MD

Matthew J. Sousa, M.D., is an interventional cardiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. He earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, Lexington. He then completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. Dr. Sousa realizes that every patient has specific needs and creates a tailored care plan for each individual. A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Sousa now lives in Louisville with his wife and enjoys spending time outdoors in his free time.

Meagan L. Peek, MD, is a caring pediatric cardiologist at Cincinnati Children's, specializing in both general and fetal cardiology. She is dedicated to providing excellent care to her young patients while addressing the concerns and fears of their parents. Dr. Peek enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their families, following them through their health journeys. Her clinical focus includes congenital heart defects and other pediatric heart conditions. Outside of work, she enjoys playing the piano and participating in vocal and handbell choirs.
