Yendris L. Cuesta Garcia, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Children’s Medical Group. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Miami Regional University. Yendris has a robust medical background, having completed a medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences Santiago de Cuba. Yendris specializes in neonatal and pediatric care, with experience in caring for ventilated patients and providing home care. She takes a preventive approach to health care, focusing on the connection between a child’s health and the overall happiness of their family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and visiting new places.

Liduvina Portillo, APRN is a family nurse practitioner passionate about helping others, advocating for her patients and meeting the need for Spanish-speaking patients throughout greater Louisville. She is an experienced registered nurse, with over 10 years of nursing experience to include geriatric nursing, OBGYN, perioperative services and public health. She has a Masters in advanced clinical training from Bellarmine University. Originally from El Salvador, Liduvina located to the United States after high school and pursued her education in medicine. Her priority is to strive for high quality care with a holistic and collaborative approach with her patients. She is certified as a medical interpreter, BLS and ACLS. He received his medical degree from Superior Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba and completed his residency at University of Louisville. Dr. Polo has been in practice for more than 20 years, working 18 years as an OBGYN in Cuba and 2 years in the Republic of Burundi, Africa before coming to the US for more training. Dr. Polo is passionate about removing language barriers for Spanish speaking patients in the medical sphere. His priority is to establish relationships with his patients with meaningful, culturally sensitive connections. El Dr. Juan Polo es especialista en Medicina Interna. Recibió su título de médico del Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba y completó su residencia en la Universidad de Louisville. El Dr. Polo ha estado en la práctica por más de 20 años, trabajando 18 años como ginecólogo obstetra en Cuba y 2 años en la República de Burundi, África, antes de venir a los Estados Unidos para más capacitación.
