The veterans in Letcher County are extremely proud to have an extensive collection and exhibit of wartime memorabilia housed at our museum located at 360 Main Street in Whitesburg. The museum’s collection has items dating back to the Civil War and continuing thru to today’s current battles. The pride of a grateful nation is on display.

Founded in 1960, the Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College is a public institution operated by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College provides baccalaureate and associate s degree programs, as well as certificates and diplomas in a variety of fields. Its associate s degree programs include classes in various subjects, such as business administration, finance, criminal justice, information technology, network administration, radiography, physical therapy, and health and industrial studies. Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College offers courses in horticulture, early childhood education, nursing and mining technology through its certificate programs. It also maintains several libraries that provide a range of books and reference materials, as well as online resources. Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The college maintains a location in Whitesburg, Ky.
