Since 1979, the Tater Knob Pottery & Farm has been creating artistic and functional gifts for the area of Berea, Kentucky. The Enge family, Sarah, Jeff, and their son, David, have been creating unique, handcrafted pottery for over 38 years. Every pot and vase has a unique character, so no two items are the same! At Tater Knob Pottery & Farm, we specialize in twenty-five standard items, including place settings, pitchers, vases, lamps, bells, and our famed spoonbread bakers, which are designed to bake and serve spoonbread. Our potters are graduates of Berea College's Ceramic Apprenticeship Program and draw their inspiration from the wooded acres on Wolf Gap Road. This visit was like visiting family. I make make pottery. I like to visit other potters. Sarah was the only one on site this day August '22, but welcomed me in and offered me a drink of water....
