ACTS Home Health Care provides a wide range of home health care services, including physical, speech and occupational therapies, medical social services and dietary counseling. It provides registered and licensed practical nurses, personal care attendants and home health aides that help in personal care, wound care management, administer injections, orthopedic rehabilitation, enterostomal care, intravenous therapies and home respiratory treatments. Its medical social workers offer patients and families with assistance in obtaining additional community services. The center is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. It is a member of the National Association of Home Care and Homecare Association of Louisiana. ACTS is located in New Orleans and serves Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. Bernard, St. John, St. James, St. Tammany and Lafourche counties.
