Jonesboro State Bank was founded in 1912 and for 95 years has provided sound, reliable hometown banking services for the people and businesses of Jackson Parish and surrounding communities. The well-being of the citizens of our area drives our efforts to deliver the personal financial assistance that is necessary to help our customers successfully meet their goals. For decades Jonesboro State Bank has supported parish, civic, and educational organizations. One key way the bank shows support is through the continual support of local schools and their various academic and athletic programs. More than 25 years ago, the Bank and its management were instrumental in the establishment of the I. J., Allen Scholarship Fund administered by the Jackson Parish School Board. The fund has grown and presently college scholarships totaling $13, 000 are awarded each year to students graduating from a Jackson Parish High School. The 70 plus years of continuity of Jonesboro State Bank's management team-now in its fourth generation-has enabled us to serve multiple generations of customers.
