Founded in 1987 and celebrating its 30th year in business, Pan American Power has been serving its customers the best sales and service experience in the Power and Power Generation Industry. Our original Founding mission was to provide the highest quality used and rebuilt Caterpillar Engines, Generators, Marine Transmission, and Parts to a global market of customers. A few years before Hurricane Katrina, we rededicated ourselves and expanded our product offerings to include the sales, service and installation of Home and Light Commercial Standby Generator Sets. Our company vision has always been benchmarked on providing top quality customer service, therefore to support our emerging line of business, we expanded our support network. We obtained and maintain current State of Louisiana licenses for Electrical and Mechanical work along with a Specialty License for Generator Installations. At our 12,500 square foot facility in Covington, we maintain a large new spare parts inventory for all of our generator lines; offer real time remote generator monitoring, and have factory trained service technicians available 24/7 to support our customers. We now are authorized Sales, Service and Warranty providers for our preferred Generator Partners – Cummins—Kohler—Generac – and Briggs & Stratton but are capable of servicing any make or model of equipment. As per our legacy, we continue to offer rebuilt Engines, Generators, Parts and Accessories along with engine dynamometer testing services at our facility.
