RTC Belle Chasse

Founded in 1974, Y&S Marine Inc. is one of the prime providers of marine transportation for the Gulf Coast s oil and gas industry. Located in Belle Chasse, La., it provides crewboat services for some of the leading companies, including Apache, Baker, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, devon, EPL, ExxonMobil, Gulf, Helis Oil & Gas Company, Hess, Texaco. The company has a fleet of offshore vessels, each of which is maintained with regular improvements to equipment and technology. Y&S Marine has developed behavior-based safety program, SHARK (Safely Heightening Actions by Review and Knowledge) to facilitate documentation of the activities of the team members, customers and vendors. The data obtained is assessed in order to identify areas of at-risk behavior.
