Slaughter Town Hall

The Town of Slaughter, located in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, was incorporated in 1889 and named after its original landowners, Mr. Will Slaughter and his brother Joe. Originally called Burnsville during the railroad construction, the area evolved with a post office first named Belzara before ultimately adopting its current name with the establishment of a depot.
