Locally managed, the company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chicago Title Corporation and is also an authorized agent for Fidelity National Title, First American Title, Stewart Title Guaranty, Ticor Title and Security Union. Baton Rouge services a wide variety of real estate closings, such as transactions for local, regional and national lenders, residential sales, commercial transactions, construction mortgages, refinancing and second mortgages. Headquartered in Baton Rouge, La., the company also has branch office in Prairieville, La. Baton Rouge Title has a large title staff, including six real estate attorneys, 10 notaries and eight abstractors. The company is affiliated with the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors, American and Louisiana State Bar Associations, Mortgage Bankers Association, Baton Rouge Association of Real Estate Brokers, Home Builders Association, Better Business Bureau and Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce.
