The Jefferson Parish Juvenile Probation Division is a part of the Department of Juvenile Services, La. The division provides investigation and supervisory services for court. It conducts interviews and investigates the background of juveniles. It also supervises the conduct of juveniles placed on active probation. The Jefferson Parish Juvenile Probation Division prepares court reports, as well as enforces court orders. In addition, the division provides outpatient treatment and substance abuse programs in group homes and psychiatric hospitals.
