Our 80-bed facility is set on 50 private acres in greater Portland and offers children, adolescents, and adults a comfortable and pleasant environment for psychiatric treatment. We provide 24-hour information and referral, voluntary and involuntary hospitalization and comprehensive discharge planning. As part of the MaineHealth system, and a member of the Maine Mental Health Partners network, Spring Harbor is clinically integrated with mental health providers, hospitals and primary care sites to ensure easy and timely access to treatment and safe and effective transitions between services. Through a unique collaboration with Maine Medical Center, Spring Harbor is able to offer the most complete array of psychiatric treatment, physician-training, and medical-research programs north of Boston. Lighthouse Recovery is a progressive 12-Step sober living facility located in Portland, Maine, dedicated to supporting men aged 18 and older in their journey to recovery. Guests are encouraged to engage with the 12 Steps as outlined in the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book and attend multiple meetings each week, while also fulfilling requirements such as work or volunteer commitments to foster accountability and development. The program emphasizes holistic recovery by addressing the underlying causes of addiction and fostering meaningful connections, personal growth, and community reintegration. With in-house meetings, individual counseling, and a supportive environment, Lighthouse Recovery aims to create a strong foundation for long-term sobriety and healthier lifestyles.
