Berwick Academy is a private institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Founded in 1791 and located in South Berwick, Maine, the school is a coeducational country day school serving over 600 students from the seacoast area of southern Maine and New Hampshire. It offers subjects, such as English, American studies, economics, Spanish, Latin, French, mathematics, science, social studies, drama, music, art, and health and physical education. The school also offers various sports activities, and fields teams in soccer, cross country, golf, hockey, swimming, skiing, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, softball and tennis. The school s art program is provided through a progression based on techniques aesthetics and history.

The Pine Tree Academy enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 12. The academy provides Bible-based education for the development of spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and artistic talents of students. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist school network, which includes colleges, universities, and elementary and high schools throughout the world. The Pine Tree Academy operates a center for arts and provides lessons in a range of musical instruments, including cello, clarinet, flute, guitar, piano and violin. It supplies pencils, erasers, markers, glue sticks, rulers and tissue boxes. The school also conducts several fundraising activities. Located in Freeport, Maine, the Pine Tree Academy is governed by a board of directors.
