Slab serves Sicilian street food in Portland, Maine. They focus on pizza, 20 rotating craft beer selections, wines, and cocktails. They’re located in the old Portland Public Market building on Preble Street and are a convenient location for a quick hand slab and beer before a show at Port City Music Hall. Slab is most known for the “slab.” These thick slices of pizza are offered as a meat wedge, a vegetarian wedge, or a vegan cauli wedge. Other than pizza, Slab also offers tasty sandwiches options. Tap takeovers, food events, and live music are popular at Slab, especially in the summer on their outside patio. Unlike other restaurants in Portland, they offer an all day Sunday brunch (from 11am-7pm!) The brunch menu offers classics with a twist.
