Dr. Broderick received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2003 and he completed his internship and residency training in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He studied the molecular biology of lung cancer as a research fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he received the Chairman's Award for outstanding contributions to the basic science research fellowship. Dr. Broderick also completed a fellowship in thoracic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in 2012 and earned a Masters in Population Health Science from Washington University School of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Broderick is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, The Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
