Andrews Federal Credit Union was founded in 1948 to serve the personnel of what would later be known as Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. For more than 50 years AFCU has grown to also serve the McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey and also assists in meeting the financial needs of servicepersons in central Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as many select employee groups in Maryland and New Jersey. It has also expanded its services to those who live, work, worship or attend school in Washington, D.C. Andrews Federal Credit Union holds assets in excess of $650 million, providing a complete range of financial products and services to nearly 100,000 members. Andrews Federal Credit Union maintains offices in Suitland, Md.
