BETHANY BENSON, LCPC

Avi is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), graduating from University of Maryland School of Social Work. With a decade of experience working in camps and youth groups, Avi has an expertise in helping youth and adolescents to establish and reach their goals, with a strong passion for helping individuals to work on self-identity and self-esteem. Using a therapeutic approach surrounding theories of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-centered Therapy, Avi creates a space for personal-growth and discovery. He has a friendly and warm demeanor, meeting each individual at their own level, utilizing compassion and understanding in all areas.

Lexie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor from the City University of New York's Hunter College with experience providing individual and group therapy to adults and young people in nonprofit and community mental health settings. Lexie approaches therapy as a partnership. She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches that meet each of her client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. Lexie earned her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York's Hunter College. There, she received the award for Counseling Service & Advocacy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Stanford University.

She has experience working in school settings and outpatient mental health settings. She has experience working with children and adolescents experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, behavioral problems, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder, and other mental health conditions. She utilizes a client-centered approach to provide treatment specifically catered to the client's needs. She has experience providing individual therapy and group therapy to children and adolescents experiencing mental health struggles.
