The Presbyterian Home of Maryland, located in Towson, Md., offers a range of services for elderly residents. The home has a licensed nursing staff 24 hours, seven days a week on-site. The nursing staff is offered regular clinical training through in-house in-services and through outside qualified professionals. The home s residents are free to choose their own physicians and referrals are made to specialists whenever necessary. Specialized care is provided at the home on a regular basis by a geriatric psychiatrist, pharmacy, podiatry, dentist, speech, physical and occupational therapies, and exercise and fitness programs. The other services provided include personal laundry, facility linen, trash removal and maintenance concerns.
