Chico's started in 1983 as a small boutique selling Mexican folk art on Sanibel Island in Florida. Then one day, the founders discovered the sweater, pivoted the business and retail was never the same. Sadly I continue to use this location only because it is close to Trader Joe's and About Faces. Usually I park and walk by the window and the clothes draw me in. Once inside the customer service...
