Elk Neck State Park features boat launch sites, cabins, dump stations, hiking trails, hook-ups and picnic shelters. It includes a visitor center and several camping sites and serves as a venue for organizing campfire programs. Located in North East, Md., the park acts as a place for conducting recreational water activities. The park is also a venue for organizing canoeing, hunting, swimming and picnicking activities. The park is maintained by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, which is a state agency that oversees the management and use of living and natural resources of Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources maintains state forests, parks, fisheries and wildlife, as well as organizes recreational activities for individuals. The department also organizes boating, fishing, hunting and several other outdoor activities.

beautiful views ! a great park for a nice walk. with or without pets. you get the greens from the beautiful park and the blues from the water. nice trail and pretty easy. quiet and not too busy....
