Fort Washington Boys & Girls

The Fort Washington Area Recreation Council Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to promoting the growth of lacrosse in a community that has historically lacked opportunities to participate in the sport. Their mission encompasses encouraging student-athlete scholarship, positive self-esteem, sportsmanship, teamwork, personal responsibility, hard work, and perseverance.

Playing as part of the Prince Georges County Youth Lacrosse League, the Cannons engage in recreational level games using a small-sided format to enhance player development. The league offers a structured environment for youth in various age divisions to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse while fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
