Hancock Elementary School

Located in Clear Spring, Md., Clear Spring Middle serves more than 400 students in grades six through eight. The middle school provides instruction in various core curriculum areas, including reading, composition, mathematics, science, physical education, computer applications, world geography, music and art. The school also offers lessons in current events, band, chorus, public speaking, journalism and workshop conduction. Additionally, it offers instruction in world languages. The middle school employs a counselor, media specialist and nurse. Clear Spring Middle has several athletic activities, such as volleyball and basketball. The school operates a career center and parent-teacher-student association. The school is a part of Washington County Public Schools.

Established in 1959, Williamsport Elementary Magnet School for Mathematics, Science and Technology is an educational institution. Located in Williamsport, Md., the school serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in physical education, art, mathematics, science, language arts and social studies. The school also operates special education programs. Williamsport Elementary Magnet School for Mathematics, Science and Technology conducts field trips. It offers counseling and food services. The school supplies students with includes pencils, erasers, markers, glue sticks, tissues, scissors and notebooks. In addition, it operates a technology club and parent-teacher association.
