Under his research leadership, he and his colleagues have developed one of the leading community research programs in the country. Patients now have access to early drug development/phase I trials outside of an academic center. He is a published author on numerous research topics. His special interests include breast cancer, lymphomas, myeloma and leukemia.

Today, Maryland Oncology Hematology is the largest independent Medical Oncology and Hematology group in Maryland with 30 physicians practicing in 9 locations across central Maryland. Dedicated to providing the most advanced cancer care available anywhere in an atmosphere of caring compassion.

Dr. Hendricks specializes in breast cancer and is an active member of a multidisciplinary team focused on breast cancer genetics, screening, and treatment. She provides cutting edge and comprehensive treatment at the local level. Praised for her involvement in clinical trials for breast cancer, she brings knowledge and support to community groups by providing education about breast cancer.
