Kevin Li, MD

Audiologist J. Sue Garman provides professional audiologic services for both pediatric and adult patients, including comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, electrophysiological testing, hearing aid selection and fittings, and otoacoustic emission testing. She works with all ages for diagnostic evaluations, and with adults for hearing aid selection and fittings. Dr. Garman earned a master’s degree in audiology from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and completed a fellowship in audiology at Towson University.

Dr. Catherine Simpson is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care medicine, and pulmonary vascular diseases. Dr. Simpson earned her M.D. from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Johns Hopkins, where she also performed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine and earned her M.H.S. degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Mohamed G. Atta, MD, MPH, is Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland and Director of Von Hippel Lindau Clinical Care Center at Hopkins. A graduate of Mansoura University School of Medicine in Egypt, he completed his internship and residency training in various locations including the Urology and Nephrology Center at Mansoura University, Cabrini Medical Center in New York, and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Atta received his MPH degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2005.Dr. Atta is a member of the Health Disparity Committee at the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in Maryland, the Scientific Council on Kidney of the American Heart Association, the International Society of Nephrology, and the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Atta has participated as principal investigator in several studies, clinical trials, and serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Investigation, Archives of Internal Medicine, American Journal of Medicine, Kidney International, Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, American Journal of Kidney Diseases, Clinical Infectious Disease, and Journal of Infectious Diseases among others. He authored or co-authored numerous articles published in Genomics, the Journal of Biological Chemistry, Journal of clinical investigation, Clinical Infectious Disease, Circulation, Stem Cells Translational Medicine, American Journal of Medicine, and American Journal of Transplantation, Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, American Journal of Kidney Disease, Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation, and Kidney International, among others.
