Meade High School

Founded in 1998, Meade Middle School provides learning opportunities to more than 800 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, language arts, social studies, science, Spanish and French. The school s media center is a learning-centered facility that stocks a range of books, magazines, research materials and electronic resources. It has a parent-teacher-student association that organizes various fundraising programs. Meade Middle School offers several student organizations, including the National Junior Honor Society and art, reading, keyboarding and piano clubs. It also offers a special education program and conducts family life skills classes for students with special needs. The school s campus includes a planetarium, kitchen, three 33-station computer laboratories, gymnasiums and a weight room, music suites, and art and sewing rooms. Meade Middle School is administered by Anne Arundel County Public Schools and is located in Fort Meade, Md.
