Frank Prescott Dawson, IV, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, specializing in sports related injuries. He currently serves as medical director of Sports Medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center and is affiliated with MedStar Orthopaedics. He earned his medical degree and completed his fellowship at the University of Maryland and a residency at Miami Children's Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. As an expert in sports medicine, sports injuries, fracture care and concussion care, Dr. Dawson develops a personalized plan of care to help athletes recover from injuries. In addition to seeing patients at his practice, Dr. Dawson is a team physician for the Baltimore Ravens and Morgan State University, a sports medicine consultant for Baltimore City Public School System, and a member of Baltimore County Public School System's Head Injury Committee.
