The Pet Nanny

History

Dale Swift, OWNER, is married and has been living with her husband in North Bethesda since Feb. 2008, when they moved to the area from Wilmington, DE. An English teacher (5 years); a substitute teacher while her children were at home; a documentation specialist for a computer software firm; Dale was last a marketing communications professional for 12 years for a major corporation in Wilmington, DE. There have always been pets in her home. Dale, her husband and her two children (one of whom, Lauren, is now her partner) have shared their home with many pets over the years. She volunteered at Tri-State Bird Rescue and often dreamed about starting another career after retirement that would allow her to work with animals in some fashion when the time was right. The last pet to make his way into the family's life was a wonderful little mutt named Hercules. Dale had a very close and special relationship with Hercky for 14 years. Dale launched The Pet Nanny in May of 2008 in his memory.
