Toca Juniors Football Club ® (Toca Jrs or the Club) is an institution that fosters the physical and social development of its members through their participation in organized soccer leagues and sports related events. The Club was formed in 1996 and was incorporated in the state of Maryland on December 15, 2007 as a 501(c) (3) organization (EIN 20-8232326). Toca Juniors Football Club ® mission is to enhance the soccer development of our players, also creating a lifelong relationship between the club and its members (families and players). At this time Toca Juniors Football Club (the Club) has 14 teams and includes approximately 250 youth players and about 100 adult players. These players are both boys and girls ranging in age from five to adult and are engaged in a range of levels of play from recreational to the most competitive teams playing at the EDP level. Coaches are all licensed in the State of Maryland and comply with all required “safe sports” training (concussion awareness, bullying, and sexual harassment and abuse courses) as well as all background checks. The Club is financially stable, with player fees covering all expenses for each season. Any savings carried from one season to the next are used for equipment, end of season events, training and coach’s education. While some players have received and continue to receive partial and full scholarships, these are a very small percentage of players. Toca Juniors Football Club (the Club) has a very active social media presence. With daily, sometimes even multiple postings a day, the Club has amassed a following of nearly 7,528 fans on social media. Giving back in a meaningful way (soccer fields) to an inclusionary, diverse, and pluralistic community that promotes healthy exercise for children and adults. With 4 fields, Toca Juniors Football Club plans to protect soccer for the future as well create a community-based social experience – Example, they plan to host opposing soccer clubs for a joint lunch/celebration after every significant club game and an Annual Sports Award Banquet (likely 2 per year).
