Dr. Portnoy joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2017.Dr. Portnoy's clinical specialty work and research has centered on interventions related to Submassive and Massive Pulmonary Embolism, as well as Uterine Artery and other visceral embolizations.Dr. Portnoy was awarded Hospital Radiology High-Value Ambassador in 2016. He was voted both residency and fellowship Teacher of the Year in successive years. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Society of Interventional Radiology and Radiologic Society of North America.
