Dr. Beningfield graduated from the University Of Florida College Of Engineering in Gainesville, Florida. After practicing engineering for eight years, he attended the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine before completing his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Beningfield spent four years in active duty as an otolaryngologist for the United States Air Force and was previously on the faculty of the University of South Florida. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
