Abisi Adult Education

The Lowell Adult Education Center is a full-time center that offers Adult Basic Education programs. Founded in 1977, the center is a part of the Lowell Public School System. It provides General Education Development programs to individuals above the age of 16 years. The Lowell Adult Education Center s core curriculum includes writing skills, social studies, science, literature, arts and mathematics. The center also provides the English for Speakers of Other Languages program through its introductory, beginning and intermediate classes. It offers several adult basic education services and opportunities to out-of-school youths and adults. The Lowell Adult Education Center serves more than 2,000 adults each year. It is located in Lowell, Mass.
