Clean Harbors Environmental Services

Clean Harbors, established in 1980, is a provider of environmental and hazardous waste management services. With nearly 50 waste management facilities, which includes nine landfills, five incineration locations and seven wastewater treatment centers, the company provides essential services to more than 45,000 customers. Clean Harbors customers are comprised of more than 175 Fortune 500 companies, thousands of private entities and several governmental agencies. In September 2002, Clean Harbors acquired the assets of the Chemical Services Division of Safety-Kleen Corporation, which consisted of 55 service centers, 33 waste management facilities and 4,400 employees. The company s stock is publicly traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol CLHB. With headquarters in Braintree, Mass., Clean Harbors has more than 100 locations that are positioned throughout the United States in 36 states, six Canadian provinces, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
