Hanson Police Department

The Hanson Police Department works to provide a safe and secure environment, safeguard lives and property, preserve peace, and maintain law and order. It maintains administrative, animal control and dispatch units. The department also operates domestic violence, sexual assault investigation, and bike and motorcycle patrol units. The Hanson Police Department hosts the TRIAD program, which provides assistance to victimized senior citizens and assists in educating them. It conducts Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) System and Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E). In addition, the department organizes a student police academy that offers law enforcement education programs in drug laws, patrol and court procedures and operations, and domestic abuse and sexual assault investigations. The Hanson Police Department offers firearms licensing and copies of police reports. It is located in Hanson, Mass.
