The mission of Iggy's Bread of the World is to make breads of the highest quality and then deliver them daily to customers. The company makes old-fashioned, naturally leavened, hearth-baked breads. It has developed a range of sourdough breads using specially designed European baking equipment that replicates brick ovens and dough kneading equipment. The breads are made with organic produce, organic grains and organic flour. Iggy s has four basic breads that include country sourdough, whole-wheat sourdough, francese and seedless white rye. The company began in 1991, when Igor Ivanovic and Ludmilla Luft met in a New York bakery called Eli's Bread. As they worked together, they saw the demand for quality breads increasing and, in 1992, they opened Pain D'Avignon and later in 1994, Iggy's Bread of the World was born. Iggy's Bread of the World has a location in Watertown, Mass.
