We always welcome your input and suggestions for how to serve you.Dedham-Westwood Water District is a non-profit, locally controlled public water system. The District was created by the Massachusetts legislature in 1985 to operate as a self-supporting unit of local government. Rates are set by the Water Commissioners to cover the cost of delivering a product which meets federal and state guidelines under the Safe Drinking Water Act. Policy is also set by the Board, a six member commission with three commissioners from each town, appointed by their Board of Selectmen. Public meetings are held each month at the District's office at 50 Elm Street in Dedham. Dates and times of meetings are posted at both town halls and on this site. All customers are encouraged to attend these meetings.Thank you for allowing us to continue providing your family with high quality water. It supplies drinking water to the town of Provincetown and several areas within the town of Truro. Provincetown Water Department uses sodium hypochlorite as its primary disinfectant.
