Shore Country Day School

Founded in 1936, Shore Country Day School offers educational programs to more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through nine. Its curriculum includes traditional, preparatory, liberal arts courses; and preparatory courses for secondary school and college levels. Its facilities include a library resource center, upper and lower school art studios, theater, playing fields, playgrounds, gymnasiums, a project adventure ropes course and a rock climbing wall. Its after-school activity program includes activities, such as cooking, arts, crafts, bookmaking, photograph, games and outdoor sports. It provides computers in every classroom with network and Internet access. Located in Beverly, Mass., it teaches science classes of children in one grade through nine in a science laboratory.
