We went to the Poynt in Newburyport unexpectedly after cutting down our Christmas tree. We sat at the bar and Chris was our bartender. It was clear in 1 minute this guy was born to tend bar....

Welcome! The Poynt is thrilled to be up and running in downtown Newburyport! We are serving up a unique menu unlike anything else in town that includes a little something for everyone! Our menu includes dishes, created by our Chef Peter Hansen, inspired by many different cultures and tastes including everything from sushi rolls + wood-fired pizza, to New York Steak! Owners John and Laura Wolfe, who live blocks away from the restaurant, are thrilled to have opened a restaurant in their hometown + look forward to seeing many new + familiar faces!
