ThreadED: Fashion for a Future

History

ThreadED's mission is to change people's lives by helping them attend and graduate from college. By reselling high quality donated clothing, we want to both ease the burden of the cost of college and reduce our collective impact on the earth. This summer, ThreadED gave its first scholarships with the help of uAspire, a Boston nonprofit focused on college affordability for the past thirty year. ThreadED was also chosen as an eBay Shine Awards finalist in the Charity Business category - one of 15 finalists across five categories from more than 1,300 entries!

Upscale resale to fund college scholarships for students in need in the Greater Boston area. We call it Fashion for a Future. The Stuff You'd Give to a Good Friend...If you are cleaning out your closets and have great clothing, shoes & accessories, consider donating them to ThreadED! We sell online and inperson and all proceeds fund scholarships for students in need in the Boston area. Our current partners are uAspire and The Alray Scholars program. Email us at director@threadedma.org to figure out a time to drop off or for us to pick up from you. ThreadED is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit in MA. The better brands we receive, the more we can sell. Its as simple as that.
