Mason-Rice Elementary School was founded in 1959 and is located in Newton Centre, Mass. The school is affiliated with the Newton Public Schools and serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Its academic curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, social studies, language arts and physical education. It has a parent-teacher organization that raises money through a variety of fundraising activities and organizes many programs for parents, teachers and students. The school s library and media center provides a wide collection of storybooks, picture dictionaries and audiovisual material for students.
